I have been waiting for this one, let me tell you. I was introduced to Leah a few years back and although we were both Nebraskan’s living in Chicago, we didn’t meet until we both moved back to our home state.
Leah is a well known and experienced stylist, yoga instructor and now has taken her creativity to help her clients with their interior spaces. Lucky for me, she has a ton of retail experience too and has assisted with several BFYB photo shoots, look books and buying.
Leah is a beautiful soul and has taught me that you should celebrate your own unique style. When I found out she was pregnant, I couldn’t wait to collaborate and discover her maternity secrets. I am sure this won’t be the last we hear from Leah. With her birth only a few weeks away, you can bet she’ll be back again (maybe for a Mama Takeover)?!
Leah’s Three Piece Rule
One of the first things I started noticing about my maternity style was that as it started getting hotter outside, it made it harder and harder to keep looks layered with my usual blazers or boyfriend sweaters. ENTER the vest. The sleeveless topper is the perfect “third piece” for any outfit to make you still feel chic during the growing months.
A fitted dress turns city-cool with sneakers and a touch of asymmetrical leather.
